• In this course, we are using Hive (2.x) on Hadoop (MR). Even though hive concepts are the same, we are not covering Hive on Tez or Spark.
• You need to have a Hive setup installed on your machine before the session. You may use the downloaded VM or follow setup instructions in your enrolment mail. You may take help from the instructor before the session.

• Learning Hive concepts and architecture.
• Ability to use Hive types, queries, and tables.
• Understanding Advanced Hive topics like Partitioning & Bucketing.

• Core i3 (64-bit) and above
• RAM Min 8 GB. Recommended: 16 GB+.
• 64-bit Linux – Ubuntu.
• You may use VM with the above configuration (available for download).

Loved the session. The content was well-planned and well-structured. Nilesh Sir always understands his students' experience level and needs and teaches the subject accordingly which makes the experience even more effective. Thanks to Nilesh Sir and Sunbeam for organizing this and other workshops which are helping us upskill during the lockdown and on weekends. I have always wanted to attend sunbeam workshops and webinars but could never make it due to location constraints. Request to sunbeam team to continue with online webinars/workshops/courses post lockdown as well 

He made us very familiar with the topics of the hive. Covered all the topics mentioned in the course. The hands-on-approach made the concepts easier to understand. We had a very interactive session and all my queries were answered.

This course refreshed my knowledge of HIVE and also added some to it. Very well explained with relevant examples, and took care of the doubts. Looking forward to other Hadoop framework courses to learn from Nilesh Sir.
